The Bollywood Paradise Shimla -famous for its shooting locations…..Kareeb,Black,Jab We Met….and now one more movie is added into its history that’s RAAZ 2 sequel Of RAAZ…!!! Sequels and remakes are in!!! Bollywood is slowly waking up to this new trend thanks to the super-success of sequels and remakes in the recent past. But I heard it’s not the sequel ????? It’s a big question??? We can’t predict anything before the movie is released…

Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt decided to shoot it at Shimla in Hotel Woodville Palace. Emraan Hashmi, Kangana Ranaut, Manisha Lamba, Mahesh Bhatt, Mukesh Bhatt and the entire team of RAAZ 2 is in Shimla from last week…

Raaz was a blockbuster of 2002, hope this will be the blockbuster again and let’s see how they present beautiful Shimla in their movie…!!!

Summer Arrives!!!Shimla Learn by heart….Specially Summer Festival. It is major attraction for tourist and it shows the rich tradition of Himachal. But I think only star night’s makes this festival excited and attracts tourist….What u Think?????
Even I am exicted this year b’coz Kangana Ranaut and Priety Zinta and guest of owners..!!!

This festival starts from 2nd june and ends on 6th june…

Star Nights starts with Hans Raj Hans. Next day Mohit Chauhan is coming. On 4th Stars of voice of India are coming. Next day, Labh Janjua is coming.And finally closing of this festival is with Jazzy B….Don’t you think this year stars totally rocks Shimla…!!!!

The best reason to visit Shimla during summers has to be the famous Summer Festival that is held every year in the month of May. This famous festival is a riot of colors and festivity and is celebrated on a grand scale. The Summer Festival in Simla is a beautiful amalgamation of various talented people of India who make it an event that is remembered for a long time to come.

We visited Shimla last year in the month of May at the time Summer Festival, there was a great rush of tourists, all hotels were packed but nothing to worry as we had already made booking through himachalhotels.in. They served me everything at hand and I must tell you,we enjoyed a lot.

The Shimla summer festival is organized at the Ridge Shimla.Major attractions of the festival includes Star Nights, Himachal Food Fest, Painting competitions, Roller skating completion, Fashion Shows, Flower Shows etc. Red Cross Fair, adventurous sports and various Handicraft exhibitions provide the people with a whole lot of excitement to enjoy the summer vacations.

The visit to Dalhousie Hill Station is almost like a dream come true. Tall Oak and pine trees, serene atmosphere, cool weather, less populated are one of the most fascinating hill stations of India. A popular summer destination among the holidaymakers, Dalhousie is a paradise of unspoilt nature with spectacular scenic grandeur.

We had planned our visit in the Month of March. There was a great rush of tourists, all hotels were jam packed but Nothing to Worry as we had already made all arrangements, thanks to the current systems of online reservations. I contacted the Himachalhotels people and Wohh !!..They served me everything at hand.

Our stay at Dalhousie was accompanied by our visit to the marvelous Khajjiar. Lovely lakes , captivating cedar trees all mesmerized our trip and left an overwhelming experience to cherish a lifetime in the hills of Himachal.

Our shopping stop was the Tibetan market where we purchased traditional shawls, grass chappals,Ethnic Himachali dolls as souvenirs.

On the last leg of our tour we visited Chamba, 56 Kms away from Dalhousie. In Chamba Lakshminarayana temple is a landmark, a Must Visit..

I must tell you,we enjoyed a lot.. The hills proved to be a refreshing retreat for us.

Satluj River Rafting in Himachal! A Thrilling Experience

If your perfect holidays involve more than just sight seeing and strolling, then Himachal is a perfect place for you. This statement comes from my white water rafting experience in the beautiful and picturesque northern state of India.

Last year during my summer vacations I was planning to go to Shimla with my friends. We were looking for something different (as we had visited Shimla before). I did a google search and found out some great adventure activities like white water rafting in Himachal. Since I didn’t know how to go about it so I searched and booked a white water rafting package through internet.

I reached hotel in Naldera. My trip included picnic lunch by the river side with the camping chairs, evening bonfire by the beach and tea party. But the most exciting part was the white river rafting in Satluj River. Believe me, white water rafting is one of the most thrilling activities and you can only understand this when you experience it yourself. Just imagine you’re heading towards the rocks with water flooding over the sides of the boat, everyone is hanging on as tight as they can. You are confronted with a wall of white water… Will you make it through?

The experience was thrilling as well as a bit scary in the beginning. A team of experts joined us while we paddled through the waves. Breathtaking landscapes, water splashing on our faces and fresh air, making it one of the most exhilarating experiences of my life.

To top it all, natural hot springs at Tattapani makes it very special, because you finish at the natural hot pools where you may heal and heat your body. What a finish! Wow. Whenever I plan to go for a vacation, Himachal Pradesh never seems to disappoint me. Everytime it has something different and new to offer which stays forever in my memories.

When I think about summer vacations so many things pop up in front of my eyes!!!!!

Holidays!! Masti!! leisure!! scenic beauty!!! Shopping….etc..etc..ohhhh!!! It mesmerizes me.This year according to the news’s summer has been hot, hot,hot!!! Oh My….!

Well If you are planning to go out then don’t take just don’t worry..If you are looking for a destination, always choose cool places, definitely Hill Stations are a Heaven.

Last time when I was planning for my summer vacation, It Was almost a panic with the thought of, “Where should I go??? How will I manage there???? ……etc etc.

Finally I decided to go Shimla and Manali.I started searching information on the internet about Shimla and Manali but that was tiring ….
